Simulation is a representation of a manageable real event in which the learner is an active participant engaged in learning a behavior or in applying previously acquired skills or knowledge.

Provide information to the participants; create situations in which the learner demonstrates some skill or knowledge, since the simulation elicits a response; and assess the performance of the participant by measuring it against an already established standard.
